I have a wide selection of music from the 60s to the current top 40 chart toppers and club hits, along with recent underground dance music and remixes.
Using my Grooveshark subscription, I can download almost any songs you request. I also carry a mobile internet connection and can download requests at your event.
Consultation
After you book me, I will conduct a consultation with you. The purpose of this is to find out as much as I can about your event before the night. I will go through some music with you on my laptop and build some playlists for your event. I go through previous playlists of music which has worked well for other events so that you can pick from them or use them as inspiration. From this process I also learn what music you don't like. When I know the limits, I can play other music, not on the playlist, to suit you and your guests. I prefer to spend time going through music with you to learn what sort of music you like and dislike rather than being locked into a provided playlist as it serverely limits my creativity makes reading your crowd more difficult.
The Consultation provides an opportunity to discuss other aspects of your event. I can tailor my lighting to suit your theme or highlight your special objects. I can also get special music to go with your theme. If you are working out a plan for the setup of the venue, I can help you work out the best position for the dance floor, speakers, where people will stand to deliver speeches, where I will setup my table and where other items may be positioned for the best effect. It is often helpful to view the venue prior to the event.
